David Francis Lyon


David is President and Founder of 6Synct Consulting Inc. a group dedicated to accelerating the deployment and implementation of Electrification in Mining, Construction and Agriculture. He is a Canadian licensed professional Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. David has built his career around developing and adapting new technologies for the Mining and Construction Industries and for the past decade his focus has turned to energy storage, traction systems, infrastructure planning, and developing strategies for new technology adoption.

Alexa Marko

Operations Manager

Alexa brings her unique experiences in business development, operations, and management, to the 6Synct team. She has an Undergraduate Degree in Environment Studies and her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Alexa is highly organized, and utilizes her skillset to manage the development and projected timelines of 6Synct’s internal and external projects. She plans to foster the growth and advancement of 6Synct by a continuous focus on learning and strengthening her technical skills and knowledge to contribute to a greener future.

Jennifer Mauel

Energy Systems Analyst

Jennifer is a current Masters student at the University of Victoria studying Integrated Energy Systems Modelling. Using creative thinking processes and python-based software tools, she studies the challenges associated with electrification in Canada and it’s long term effects on the environment and energy economy. Jennifer also has an Undergraduate Degree in Mathematical Physics, and her accumulated expertise will contribute directly to the 6Synct team as an Energy Systems Analyst.

Edward Fagan

Renewables Analyst

Edward brings a background in the design and manufacture of fibre-reinforced composite structures to the team at 6Synct. Edward completed his PhD in 2017 at the National University of Ireland Galway on the optimisation of wind and tidal turbine blade structures. Since then, he has both contributed to and led R&D programmes on topics such as turbine blade design, satellite component testing and manufacturing of airborne wind energy systems (AWES). Edward’s expertise in structural design, manufacturing and R&D programmes will support the innovative work at 6Synct on the path to net zero.

Our mission is to accelerate the net-zero transition by creating awareness, increasing the safety, and validating the assumptions of fossil fuel alternative technologies to ensure barriers of trust, and ultimately adoption are lifted.
